Squire Foster not know-' ing the seriousness of the assault as sessed a fine of $5 and costs. Before Krump left Otterbein, however, Sheriff Hamilton arrived and placed him under arrest. He was taken to Fowler; and arranged before Judge B. B. Berry in the circuit court. He was held on a $2,000 bond, which was signed by Perry Finch, on whose farm he resides.
