Beasely. prominent in Indiana politics, went to his home at 9:30—o’clock and emptied the contents of a 32 calibre revolver in-; 4*to his wife. She died instantly. ABeasely recently had sued his wife for .$•divorce and it is supposed that brooding 4.4*over his domestic troubles temporarily .$.unbalanced him. The slayer waa ar 4.rested immediately after the shooting %and taken to jail. He refused to discuss +»$•the crime, declaring it was none of the 4. public’s business. The body of the 4.woman was removed to an undertaking X•f Aestablishment.Beasely, is known in Daviess county,*especially- among the citizens of the northern townships. He is a brother of William T. Beasely of Elnora and of John Beasely, trustee of Jlartin county. The Beaselys went to Libton from Mar tin county. Mrs. Beasely was Miss Kitturah Sims, the daughter of Noah Siras, formerly County Treasure of Martin county.
