Richey Named Again In Criminal ActionsDale T. Richey, 40, of 213 Ogden St., a suspended ConnellsviUe police corporal, was arrested for the second time Thursday afternoon in connection with a string of burglaries in the city committed over the past two to three years.He was charged with:The Artisand Inc. 301 S. Sixth St., torch safe burglary between Sept. 10*11, 1973.The Dec. 12-13, 1972, safe burglary of Bernardo Wallpaper and Paint Store, 11® W. Apple St.The Jan. 30, 1973 safe burglary of the ConnellsviUe Township Volunteer Fire Company.Richey was arraigned shortly after Ms 2 p.m. Thursday arrest before Magistrate C. V. Molinaro and released on his own recognizance.The suspended officer is now under $55,000 bond on three other burglarycharges and a robbery count He was first arrested April 29 along with three other burglary charges and a robbery count. All were charged in connection with a string of criminal activities covering the past several years.Ail were suspended and Joseph Man-cuso later fired outright by city council. Maneuso was still on his probationary period as a policeman.During a preliminary hearing before Molinaro early in May the five officers were ordered held for grand jury action and released after bonds of varying amounts were posted by the accused.Since then several civilians have also been arrested by State Police m connection with the string of thefts, burglaries and robberies. The two latest came this week when James Henry Dill of 521E. Patterson Ave. was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with the attempted safe burglary at Food!and April 5-6, 1973.Wednesday afternoon Thomas E. Bonis of ConnellsviUe, was arrested by State Police and charged with the attempted Foodland safe burglary along with the robbery of Quincy Cipresi, Foodland manager, while he was making a night deposit April 28,1972. He also faces charges of safe burglaries at Bernardo’s, ConnellsviUe Township Fire Company, and the Sons of Italy Lodge, Oct. 22,1373.Both were arraigned before Molinaro where Dill was released on posting $5,000 bond but Rorris was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bond.
