USP Inmate Dies in Yard From KnifingCharles Thessen, 43, an in-mate in the U. S. Penitentiary here, was stabbed to deatn about 7:30 a.m. today as he went to his work in the brush factory.Warden Loren Daggett said! Tflessen, who was serving 2$ years for manslaughter from Anchorage, ' Alaska, received multiple wounds in the chest, Tiie inmate died in the yard outside the factory. The death weapon has not been found.Daggett said an ihmata suspected of the murder is being held.The Federal Bureau of In* vestigation is probing th# murder. An autopsy will be held soon, Daggett said.
