A case from Burr Oak district was on trial a couple of days this week before Justice Weller at Linton. Plaintiff Willey claimed that Mrs. Chris. Mills met him on the highway, club in hand, and made him give up his team, which he was driving. Defendant claimed Willey gave the team as security for a debt owing by plaintiff to Mr. Mills. Plantyff sued to get back his team. He also claimed that, in-the matter of deb^, Mills owed him more than he owed Mills. Lane spieled law and made oratorical wind for plaintiff and Armstrong and Farrington did likewise for defendant. Mr. F. made his maiden speech in these parts, and did well. The jury gave back, the team to Willey on his payment of $5 and C06ts. 1
