1 he preliminary trial of the Luea-ma \\ hue Cups was held on Monday morning and resulted in the bindingover ot six ol the parn to appear at tne next term ol the Superior Court.The bonds weie very reasonable indeed. In fact a great many were of the opinion that the bonds were too light when the gravity of the charge was taken into consideration.Ue have no doubt however that the magistrates acted wlselv in cam-wir.g a bond within the power of theaccused to furnish.
