She said it could be remolded or tom down.Lamm, who worked at the restaurant for seven years, bought Nanna’sCafe a few months ago. Firefighters responded to the fire just before 11 p.m. June 3. Authorities said the fire began outside the restaurant. There was extensive damage to the restaurant as well as the storage building that backed up to the restaurant. Police have ruled the fire suspicious.On Monday, Bailey Police said the fire investigation is ongoing. Lamm said investigators told her that someone set the restaurant on fire.“They said it was set on fire with gas,” Lamm said.She was devastated to discover the fire was suspicious.“I just want to find out who did it,” Lamm said Monday. “1 want them to be arrested and found out. It’s frustrating.”Lamm said she is a single mother and the restaurant was her only source of income. In the meantime, Lamm has been working at Sharpsburg Restaurant to make ends meet.Lamm rented the building that housed the cafe. The owner didn’t have insurance due to it being a mobile home that houses a grill, she said. But they have continued to work to figure out the next steps.Lamm said she has been trying to find someone who might have a mobile cooking unit that she could use to house the business.
