Man Reported Satisfactory After BeatingFRONT ROYAL Ira Douglas Blevins is in satisfactory condition at Warren Memorial Hospital this morning, according to a spokesman, after he was beaten last night at the town/county dump.Sheriff R.N. Rollason said that Blevins was beaten on the left ear with a tire iron and his assailant’s fist, and that his chest had been stomped with his attacker’s foot.Deputy Hal Meredith is investigating the case.Rollason also said that 13 chickens were stolen from Howard Lester of Rockland over the weekend. An investigation is continuing.
