Lqnget's'.: : lawyers claimed the files would prejudice their client’s defense in the civil suit, that the files are based on hearsay, and that they could lead to slander suits and would “tend to derogate the character” of both Sabicb and Miss Longet.Prosecutors were barred from using certain evidence against Miss Longet because Colorado courts had ruled it was seized illegally. The evidence included Miss Longet's diary and laboratory analyses of blood and urine samples taken s non af ter the s hooting. The Sabiches' lawyers also say they feel the files will contradict Miss Longet's testimony that she got the gun with which she shoL Sabich because she was afraid to be home alone.Tucker says the apparent burglary* of his home in which some of the disputed evidence was taken is being investigated by the Garfield County sheriff’s office and private . investigators.Pot Hook funds slashedWASHINGTON (UPD — The slashed.
