DAMAGE CASE ENDED.Carroll County Man Sues in ClintonCircuit Court. The jury which tried the case of Jacob Hoshaw vs. Nicholas Cunningham,a suit for $1,000 damages for allegedbreach of contract, returned a verdict Saturday morning in the Clinton county circuit court awarding the plaintiff $500 damages.* The case went to the jury Friday I evening at 4:00 o'clock. The verdict was reached at 2:30 o'clock Saturday morning, sealed and returned into court at 9:00 o'clock. It appears that Mr. Cunningham lives in Frankfort and that he owns a farm near the Zion grave yard, about four and one-half miles west of Bringhurst, which he had rented to Mr. Hoshaw. After recieving the contract for the use of the farm for one year, Mr. Hoshaw made all preparations to move to the Cunningham fartn, after which he was informed that the farm had beenrented to another man. This was a♦great disappointment to Mr. Hoshaw and he at once filed suit for damages against Cunningham in the Clinton court.
