2 enterpleas inshootingLORAIN — Elyrians Jobs and William McElya were in municipal court yesterday on charges stemming from a shooting here early Sundaymorning.The shooting took place at Tucker’s Restaurant, l?th Street and Broadway at about3 a.m. Sam Wilson, SO, of 340 W. 17tb St., was shot in the back and was still reported in fair condition today at St. Joseph Hospital.John McElya, 24, of 143 Taft St, pleaded innocent to a . charge of aggravated assault j A preliminary bearing on the charge was set for Oct. 13. He is being held in city jail in lieu of $2,000 bond.William McElya, 23, of the j Taft Street address, pleaded guilty to a charge of intotica* , tion and was fined $50 and costs by Municipal Judge John i S. Kolena.The McElya brothers were I in the restaurant and argued i with several other patrons, . reports said. iJohn McElya reportedly j pulled a .38 special revolver and the others in the group tried to wrestle the pistol i from him.
