Miss Fifield ia 15) years old, and Wednesday evening, in company with her mother and sisier, attended a brilliant social function given by'Mrs. David K, Jeffri3. They returned home about .10 o’clock. There was nothing unusual in her actions either aL the party or on her return home. She remained up about fin hour after reaching home talking over the events of the evening, and then retired to her room. When she \va3 called to breakfast yesterday inoruing about 8 o'clock, it wos found that she was. not inthe house. It was supposed by the family that she had gone to her grandmother a, who lives near by. but such was not the case. Upon investigation it was found that she had.loft home some lime during the night attired in her night robe, a akirt, wrapper and slippers. Her younger sister, Catherine, heard her arise about 4 o'clock in the morning, but paid no attention to it.Searching parties starteil out in every direction aid over tiic county. Dilts, night ticket agent of the Chicago Northwestern Railway company in this city, sold a ticket to Chicago to a young woman for the 4:30 train yesterday morning. She wore a sailor hat, and Mrs. Fulcld said ‘ there no sailor hat around the house.WHSA telegram was received from Chicago yesterday afternoon that a young woman who answered the description of Miss Fifield was secu iu the Union depot..
