The fluid was thrown all over the room and an instant later the building was enveloped in flames. Fortunately the men who were pushing the tank escaped injury and running fromthe building gave the alarm. Engineer Lightfoot who had oharge of the boilerroom also made his escape without being injured. An alarm was sent in by telephone and the department made a quick response and were assisted in fighting tbe flames by the Lake Shore fire brigade.
