New Trial Granted.—In the case of Anderson SbifHett, who was convicted in the County Court of Rockingham, at the April Term, of the murder of David G. Lawson, and sentenced to be hung on the 29tb of this mouth, an appeal was taken to the Circuit Court, J udge Bird presiding. On Saturday last Judge Bird entered an order reversing the action of the county court, and setting aside the verdict. Shifflett will, therefore, have a new trial
