Dan Daniels and “Bum'' Grosser are being held as material witnesses, according to a police report.Charge Kotluced A charge of shooting with intent to kill filed against Mrs, Viola Malloy,; wife of Dr. W. B. Malloy following! a shooting affray at 122 Charles ave., SW., Sunday, was reduced to disorderly conduct Wednesday. She pleaded guilty and was fined $50 and costs and sentenced to,30 days in the workhouse. The sentence was suspendedon good behavior. The shooting oe-! cuvred at the residence of Elizabeth Simmons, where Dr. Malloy was playing cards. According to a police re-! port, Mrs, Malloy fired several shots j through a window at the group, a ; j bullet ripping a button off the vest 1 of one of the cai'd players.John Hewig, charged with intoxica-■ tion, forfeited his bond. Harry Thompson, colored, charged with intoxication, pleaded not guilty. Trial was set for this afternoon. '
