Local jury convicts drug felonFrom staff reportsA San Antonio man was convicted Tuesday of possession of Tnethamphetamine with intent to deliver in a Comal County District Court.A jury of eight men and four woman convicted Gary Allen McCutchen, 41, of the first-degree felony, which carries a penalty of five to 99 years in prison and anoptional $10,000 fine.District Judge Bill Bender will decide his punishment today, District Attorney Dib Waldrip said.McCutchen was arrested in 1995 while living at a house on Linde Avenue with a few other friends, Waldrip said. At that house, police found lab equipment to manufacture methamphetamine that included routing the fumes through the drainage pipes, Waldrip said.
