MRS. VERTIE S. STRONGMrs. Vertie S. Strong, 76, of 9321 E. 84th, Raytown, died Thursday at St. Luke’s Hospital.She was born in Guthrie, Okla., and had lived in this area 33 years. Mrs. Strong was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Regis Catholic Church.She leaves three sons, James Robert Keeney, Alleene, Ark.; Charles W. Puryer, Flemington, Mo., and Daniel T. Hallisey, Ogden, Ark.; two daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Hadle of the home and Mrs. Ellen C. Winslow, Kansas City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret E. Danley, Foreman, Ark.; a brother, Glendon L. Barnes, Ft. Smith, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Argonia Fletcher, Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. Emma Cochran, Fontana, Calif.; 17grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.Ser ices will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church; burial in Green I^awn Cemetery. The rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at the Carson Blue Ridge Chapel, where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight.
