MEYER LONDON LEFT AN ESTATE OF $4000The will of Meyer London, Socialist, was filed for probate on Monday leaving an estate of $4000 equally to his wife, Mrs. Anna London and his daughter. Miss Isabel M. London, both of 30* Kast Eighteenth street. Mr. Isoudon was killed in an automobile accident on June 6. ,The si*e of the estate caused somesurprise in view of Mr. London’s supposedly wide law practice, but it was explained by his brother, Horace Lon-don, who was associated with him torfifteen years. \“He had been accustomed to contribute a large part of hia income to the Socialist Party, to chanty and to various socialist enterprises, aakl Mr* lxndon. “Although he bad a large law practice, much of the work was done for nothing and his income was not as large hs was generally supposed.Mr. London cited an instance which he said was typical of his brother. He had an important case in the Supreme Court in Brooklyn at one time, when he suddenly received a call from Canada, to make a speech. He dropped the case entirely and hurried to Canada, paying hia fare both an° r*'fusing payment for the apaeen.Part of Mr. London’s jncome went to help strikers, his brother said, while some of it was given to needy individuals and to a number of organiza-tions which appealed to him from time to time for funds.
