COMMITTEE OKAYS BILLSTO FORM, ENLARGE PARKSWASHINGTON (AP)—-The Senate Interior committee approved today bills to enlarge one national park in Utah and establish two more there.The bi’ls, sent to the Senate, would expand Canvonlands Park by 79,618 acres to 337,258 acres and designate a 242,472-acre Capitol Reef park and 73,394-acre Arches park.Capitol Iteef and Aches now are national monuments covering larger areas than the proposed parks.A House Interior subcommittee ended hearings on similar legislation Tuesday.
