George Richard Ham aged 51 of Coldspring died at his home June 4. A native ofCamilia he was born March 4, 1926. A surveyor for Fox Survey Map Co. he had resided in Coldspring for 10 years. A Member of the Baptist Church and a Veteranof the U. S. Air Force.Survivors: Mother: Mrs.Lou Emma Ham of Coldspring; Sisters: Mrs. Daphne Kettler and Mrs. Cathryne Evans of Houston; brothers: Bill Denny Ham of Houston, Joe Ham of El Paso, Delma Ham of Oregon and Henry Ham of Coldspring.Graveside Services were 4 p.m. Monday June 6 from the Laurel Hill Cemetery with Rev. N. Baker and Rev. Don Shannon, officiating.Casketbearers: Dale Fox, Kennth Nixon, James K. Johnson, J. C. Walter, Bob Blackwell, Jimmie Dale Fox, J. R. Page, James E. Faulkner and Luke Reynolds.Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.Pace-Stancil Funeral Home of Cleveland directing allservices.
