[SPECIAL TO THE TIMES!^ «*CROWN POT XT, June 15.—Deputies working- out of the offices of Sheriff Kyle Saturday night cun-ducted four raids on alleged resorts at Gary and Cedar Lake.At the Derby Inn, in Cedar Lake, the officers arrested Jeames Leathers, proprietor, and Walter Medson. The deputies seized a gallon of whisky and three pint bottles of moonshine. The two men were expected to give bon (I this morningand secure their release from the county jail.Moses Woodson and Elijah Robison, colored, 1 f 171 Washington st., Gary, were charged with violating tho state liquor laws wheii officers caught them drinking at the Woodson place.Threo gallons of liquor were found in a rear flat at 1533 Adams st. and Wesley Daxe was placed under arrest and jailed.Mary Garende, 1500 Adams, arrested for maintaining a, house of prostitution, pleaded guilty this morning and was fined S22.50 and costs which she paid.
