the affidavit of D.O. Spencer Mrs. Amanda MeCauseland was arretted on Saturday, on the charge of kidnapping two of Mr. 8pencerfg children. The case waa tried before Mayor Dodds on Monday and the evidence shows that two children were sent one to Iowa and the other to Illinois, bat the defendant claimed legal custody of the children, and she was acquitted.
