Robber Flees La undry With$4An unidentified man who said He needed cab fare to go home' escaped with approximately $4 in an armed robbery inside the Tub-O-Suds laundry, 1201 Smead St., at 12:15 a.m. Monday.Mrs. Sharon Bundy, Rt 6, Logans-port, told police she was doing her laundry when the man, identified as a Negro between. 20 and SO years of age, approached her with a small knife.According to Mrs. Bundy, the man told her to come with him, and she told him to leave her alone, but that he could take her car if he wanted itThe armed man replied that he could not drive, but needed money for a cab to take him home. He then searched her purse, taking about $4 in bills and change, returned her purse, and left the laundry, walking south on 12th Street toward Erie Avenue, according to Mrs. Bundy.Mrs. Bundy described the robber as about five feet, three-inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds, and wearing a Tee shirt and a chain around his neck. The man had medium length black hair and long sideburns, Mrs, Bundy told police.
