—Nappanee News: “Samuel Brown,a 16-year-old son of John Brown, residing in the 3d ward, was arrainged in Justice McEntaffer’s court on Friday on the charge of assault and battery, on the person of Nelson Growl, a 14-year-old lad. Brown was assessed $1 and costs amounting in all to $9.55. Failing to pay or secure the amount he was taken to Goshen to board for about 9 J days at the countyjail. ”
