CONVICTED OF MURDER.Mrs. Sarah Caraway Confessed to Killing Her Husband.Dumas. Texas, June 10.β€”At the June term of the district court for Moore county Mrs. Sarah Inex Caraway was. sentenced to life imprisonment in the penitentiary for the murder of her husband. W. V. Caraway, on April 27, 1902. She confessed having put strlchnine in medicine which her husband was taking (a heart tonic). Her confession wasan indictment against he murder in the first degree on 3 and, having waived all rights ail her, she was arraigned, tried, victed and sentenced on June District Judge H. H. Wallace, she ing entered a plea of guilty. W. V. Caraway was a traveling man, representing the J. S. Campbell Lumber company of Houston, and moved here from Belton, Texas, two years ago and.settled on four sections ofsftiM'ljl land, one mile from Theyhave six children, the'eldest being 17 and the youngest 3 years of age. She was 36 years of age and he about 45 years. They seem to have had no property, except the four sections uf school land.
