WarrenLOGAN — John H. Warren, Amherst, was found guilty of breaking into the residence of Harley Ellinger, Logan Route 1, in the daytime on Feb. 9, 1970, with intent to steal.The jury trial was held Friday in Hocking County Common Pleas Court before Judge Harley Meyer. Gerald M. Smith, of Avon Lake, was attorney for Warren and Prosecutor Chris Veidt represented the state.The jury included: Keith Thomas, James St. Clair, Harold M. Brown. Harold Nihiser Jr., James Notestone, George Swackhammer, Everett Bryan, Wilma Hutchison, Dallas Warthman. Mabel Stewart, Evelyn E. Crane and Clyde Goss.Warren has been under $2,500 bond, and will be sentenced Monday at 11 a.m.
