Verna Wisor, 40, Killed; Six Others InjuredA Bigler woman was killed and six other persons injured in two traffic accidents that occurred last night on the Rockion Pike only three miles from each other and less than an hour apart.Mrs. Verna T. Wisor, 40, was killed instantly when her car went off the highway, swerved out of control to the left lane and then recrossed the road and crashed into a pile of rocks. She was the wife of Abe Wisor Jr. and the mother of three sons.Clearfield County Coroner Ralph M. Geer said Mrs. Wisor died of a fractured neck. She also suffered other multiple fractures including those of both arms and of the right leg. She was the seventh person to be killed on district highways this year.Mrs. Wisor's car was a total loss. Trooper Gerald Dreibelbis who investigated the accident,estimated the loss at $2,400.The accident occurred about 11:10 p. m. 11 miles west of Clearfield.
