Wednesday announcedthat lie will be a candidate in theRepublican primaries August IIfor attorney general for Idaho.A candidate for the same office two years ago. Ray has been a practicing attorney in Idaho Falls for several years. He came here from Pocatello.The candidate took a stand that Japanese should not be given the right of American citizenship simply by accident of birth In this country.Ray asserted that the relocation center of 10,000 Japanese in Jerome county may create a serious social and land ownership problem in southern Idaho. He declared that while they will provide a reservoir of labor, many of them will stay here after the war.I favor sending them back to Japan when we win this war. he said.
