GONE WRONG.A Well Known Young Blooming ton I an Jailed for Robbing Hli Relatives. This morning the police arrested Emmons Stuart a well known young man of the town,on a grand larceny charge and Police Magistrate Pearson sent him to jail in default of bond. He is a son of P. Y. Stuart of East Jefferson at., and his relatives are all eminently respectable. Emmons is naturally smart but long ago became a slave to rum and for the past two or three yes rs has resorted to anything to keep up the supply of booze. The present charge is that of stealing an overcoat and gold watch from his brother-in-law Mr. Charles li. Kode, with Maxwell A Co. The offense was committed some time ago but be evaded the law until this morning. His relatives have for some time condoned his offenses in this direction, but finally patience ceased to be a virtue and they concluded that it would be better for Emmons to let the Jaw take its course. He will probably get a penitentiary sentence which will give the liquor time to soak out of his system.
