A Cutting Bee.At the home of Mr. F. Dehnel near Piney Lake last Sunday night there was a birthday celebration and a merry time was had until a late hour. About the time the guests were leaviog, J. D. Shelburne, who was one of the num her, became embroiled in a row with three sons of Mr. Dehnel andEmil Ro|k«. 1In the melee two of the Dehnel boys and young Kogge were quite severely cut, one of them, Willie Dehnel, being cut on the neck to such an extent that eight stitches had to be taken to close the wound.Shelburne is said to have been the worst sufferer, he having re ceived some twenty or twenty five knife wounds and also a lick on the head with a billet of wood. He was so seriously cut and bled so freely that it was necessary to wrap him in three bed quilts, which became saturated with blood in a short while. He was taken to the home of his mother in law, Mrs. Ognosky where he received medical attention. It is said that his wounds while very painful are not necessarily dangerous.
