GUADERRAMA BOYS’ CASE CALLED AGAINThe casips of Juan, David and Jesu'sGuaderrama, charged with the murder of deputy sheriff W. H. Garlick andScott Russell, was called in the 34th district court Monday morning.A special venire of 300 men was summoned and, when the case was called, the court room was filled. The work of securing a jury started at 11 a. m. and it was anticipated that a day or more would be consumed in getting afull panel.The state in the case is represented by district attorney W. W. Bridgers and I Hudspeth Dale, as special counsel, ap* | pointed by the governor. The defendants are represented by mayor Tom Lea and T. A. Gillett. -iMayor Lea stated Monday morning that he regretted the necessity of takingthe city's time, but that he had participated in the former trial of the Guaderrama case, when the jury disagreed,and he felt he was duty hound to carryout his agreement to defend the men.
