Janitor at Len-lhal School who lives at 47 Pelham St.Amato testified he arrived at quality Lunch about 1 a.m. but the owner quickly put him out because “I was a little drunk.” Ho. said he viewed the. shooting through a window' from outside Uie reslaurant.. On cross - examination by Arabian, Amalo said he wasn't sure that be had seen anyone fire any shots. -He said he ♦■heard two shots.” He referred to the three . men as sailors, tesLlfytng that he thought one of the three was in uniform. ’The final svitness during the afternoon session was Miss Lillian Murphy of 59 Aquldneck Ave., Middletown, who'said she came lo Ihe cafe around l.m.(with a girl friend. ..She said she and her friendsat down at. a table neat, the Spring Slrcct entrance.
