Declaring that the secused and’ evidently embarked on a career of stealing and that it was useless to try any reformatory measures, Magistrate M. H. Garton in city police court Wednesday morning,' sentenced Sergio L. J. Pandolfi, no fixed address, to two years in the penitentiary for theft. An army deserter according to Crown Prosecutor A. A. Moffat, Fandolff pleaded guilty to five charges of theft of money, amount iing to $357. He received two years each on four of the charges and six months on the fifth—all to run con currently.
