charges Saturday In Boone County.Police said kidnapping and robbery warrants also had been issued for Clifford C. Caudill, no age listed, of the Huntington, W.Va.. area. Caudill, who reportedly was a former part - time employe in the jewelry store owned by the Hawkinses — still was being sought Saturday by authorities.Trooper C.R. Duncan, who is heading the West Virginia state police’s investigation. arrived in Tennessee Saturday morning. Asked if he anticipates murder charges being filed, Duncansaid. “That’s what we re doing in Tennessee.’’Chief Campbell County Deputy Charles Scott said that York and the third man still being sought are expected to be charged with murder. He said York will probably be charged with two counts of murder, while it is his understanding that Finley will be tried on the kidnapping and armed robbery charges but will not be brought to Tennessee to face murder charges.“Various information collected implicates the third suspect (Caudill),’’Scott said. “It’s just a matter of locatinghim.”Campbell County (Tenn.) Deputy A1 Cassell, meanwhile, said the Hawkinses were bound together at the arms when they were found. Hawkins had been shot four times in the back of the head with a low calibre weapon while his wife was shot at least once in the face.
