KETTLEW FI.?J, KLTTLEWELLAn investigation into the death of Mr, Christina Kettle well, 22. ofMmico, On! , bride of eight days, who was found dead, under mysterious circumstances, while honeymooning at Dinnertime Rapids near Severn Fails. Ont.* police report, Mrs Kettlewell was found on the shore of the Severn river, about 200 yards from the cottage where they were spending their honeymoon. Her husband, right, was dragged from the burning cottage suffering from shock;Ronald Barrie, Mmico, Ont., owner of the honeymoon cottage and business partner of Mr, Kettlewell in a contracting business, was atthe cottage. He told police he entered the cottage and found his chum sitting in a chair “dazed.”%as the expiration of the present Act draws near. But, nevertheless, it seems certain that nearly all of the wartime price controls will have disappeared before next March rolls around, he explained,• Mr. Taylor said:-“The Wartime Prices and Trade Board began its task of unwinding wartime controls back in September, 1944 The first controls to be revoked were the restrictions in the production of wartime non-esentials. Pricedecontrol began in February'* 1946, and has been progressing steadily ever since.“In other words, the main task of the Prices Board is drawing to its close. That task was to preventas far as possible a drastically inflated rise in Canadian prices with its equally painful counterpart -a diastic deflation.
