Attempt to Strangle Youth Reported HereA 15-year-old Eau Claire youth reported to police Saturday evening that a man attempted to strangle him as he was walking in the lower northside area.Police over the weekend also Investigated two thefts, a stolen motorcycle, a ease of vandalism. found six dogs and investigated two stolen bicycle reports.Michael Lindeen, 633 Hobart St., reported he was walking south on Hobart and had reached Film Street, when a man jumped out from behind the Walter Brewery building and grabbed him around the1 neck.Lindeen said he was unableto see his attacker until after he had fought him off. He said the man then ran west on Elm Street.
