Little Valley. June 3—Joe Liol, alias Tider, 21 years old of Youngs town, Ohio, was held for the grand jury on a charge of murder, first de gree, when he was arraigned late yes terday before Justice of the Peace Rollin H. Pratt. Liol is alleged to be one of the two assassins who murder ed John Barber on Wayne street, Olean, May 15. John Barber was a brother of Joe Barber of Bradford, who recently was released from the county jail at Smethport. The murdered man also was a former resident of the Italian colony in Bradford.
