Speeder arraigned before Judge Joseph | Hays in police court Tuesday pale/ a total of $424 into the city treasury in , fines. i’ Dennis Clancy, 2620 Grand street, Bald by police to be a second offender for violating liquor laws, was fined 1100 and costs when found guilty of fnalntaining a liquor nuisance. He appealed the case to district court and his bond was fixed at $200, w'hieh be furnished.The others who were arraigned for violating liquor laws, and who were fined $50 and costs, are Agnes Pratt, 1404 Hamilton street; William Clark, 119 South Virginia street; George Sturgis, 14 J 5Fourth Btreet; Charles Jones, 1523 Fifth street; Frank Rhodes, 021_Stono avenue, and Kd Cody, 1312 Court street.' George Gunderson, 2933 Washington street, 16 years old, was arraigned on a charge of speeding, lie admitted that he was driving his car in excess Of the city speed limit, and was finecf $15, but the sentence was withheld because of his age.Those who paid fines of $3 each when they pleaded guilty to violating traffic ordinances \yere H. L. Smith, city; W. D. Sieeg, city, and Arthur Nelson, 311 Cook street.
