. *Ed Neely is Taken in Tow by thePolice and County Officers andPlaced in Jail.Ed Neely, a negro living in Dewey City, is In jail,/ accused of assaultwith intent to murder, The assault/^as upon the person of his wife, who was stabbed with a knife in the back, the blade entering her shoulder and inflicting a bad wound.The police went after the negro and fouhd him at the home of another negro woman and took him in charge. He is said to have had frequent trouble with this Annie Neely, being up in court a short time ago charged with fighting. It is believed that he was drunk when the assault o'Jeured.
