SHABBONA GETS 3 BANK BANDITSANOTHER MICHIGAN SMALL TOWN FOILS A FINANCIAL ROBBERYSANDUSKY. MICH., June 3.-(United Pressl — Instead of being married today. .John Bannick. 213. of Capetown, fared arraignment on a charge of robbing the Shubbonabank near here yesterday.Two alleged accomplices. Earl Nicholas, 19, also of Capetown, and E. B. Laudcrback. likewise faced arraignment, on a similar charge.Virtually all of $600 loot, wan recovered with capture of the trio.Bannick taken into custody at Cass City less than an hour after holding up the hank, later admitted he did the job because I didn't have enough money to buy a wedding ring.Today he was to have married Anna Nicholas, sister of Earl, who ’appeared’ at the bank yesterday afternoon and was ’forced’ to bind the cashier, according to Nicholas’ verr.ion of the holdup.Capture of Bannick and his alleged accomplices was effected with the same swiftness which characterized two similar 'small town’ bank robberies in Michigan in recent months. Four bandits who held up the Hadley. Mich., bank, were captured by a citizens’ posse the same day, and three bandits who held up a bank at Bellville, near Detroit, also were taken into custody by armed citizens of the,community.
