Negro’s Body Hangs in Court House YardAugusta, Ga., May 29.—What is left of the body of Iiichard Henry Austin, South Carolina negro desperado, to-day hangs to a tree in the court house square at Hampton, S. C. Before the body was suspended the head, one arm, the fingers and toes had been chooped off.Austin died last night en route from Savannah to Hampton, having been been fatally wounded by his captors near Newington Ga., Tuesday night.Austin assaulted a white wo and killed three white men Hampton before he escaped weeks ago.
