Altonian charged with murderStanley Edward Holliday Jr.. 28. of Alton, has been charged with the murder of Altonian Mary L Cousett. 27. who has been missing from her home since April 25.A murder warrant was issued Thursday afternoon by the Madison County State’s Attorney Officials are hoping to extradite Holliday from the Monmouth County Jail in Freehold. N.J.Holliday faces a series of misdemeanor charges in New JerseyMs. Cousett was reported missing from her home at 211 Dooley since April 25 and police believe she left with Holliday. Lt. Donald Sandidge. chief of detectives said today.The murder warrant charges that Holliday stabbed Ms Cousett to death with a screwdriver.Police were unable to be more specific today about the basis of the charges.“We expect Holliday will waive extradition and be returned to Madison County Friday,” Sandidge said.Bond on the murder warrant has been set at $250,000 by Circuit Court judge Philip J.Rarick.
