Michael McCarthy and Michael Lucid became involved in a quarrel on W. Washing-ton-et, Saturday night, the former accusing the latter of reflecting upon his character. Lucid denied this and to avoid a fight tried to getaway, hut McCarthy followed him and finally the two came to blows. Lucid then pulled a knife and cut McCarthy’s throat from ear to ear, the wouud,however, being not dangerous. Lucid will answer a charge of intent to kill.
