TRIPLE LYNCHING IN INDIANATwo Strung Vj for a DLlMilical Crime, andtin* Third “on Suspicion.”Louisville, Ky., June 1.—Near Eckerty, Ind., a village fifty mites from Louisville on the Air Line railroad, on last Sunday morning, Charles and Clay Davis called at the farm of John Flannigan, and after sending Flannigan’s two sons to another part of the farm to drive some cattle out of a field into which they had strayed, the Davis boys took the 12-year-old daughter of Mr*. Flannigan to the woods, and, tying her to a tree, outraged her. They then left her gagged, and she was not found until ( o’clock the next morning. She was able to tell the story of the outrage, and a dozen neighbors soon found the Davis boys, and banged both to trees near the scene of their crime. John En-low, a cousin of the Davis boys, was hanged alongside them, he being strongly suspected, although there was no iositive evidence against him.
