CROWN POINT, Ind., July 30.— One Calumet City youth is under arrest and another is being- sought for robbery of a Cedar Lake store this morning. They were surprised in the act by William Fitzgerald, who managed to arrest Adolph Filas, IS, residing at 38 155th street, Calumet City.His companion, Edward Dembow-ski. escaped but deputy sheriffs ex-pectd to have him in custody before night.Business is slack at Cedar bake these mornings s othere happened to be no one in the Adolph Van Borstel store when the boys entered. However, Fitzgerald happened to pass and saw them preparing to leave with their loot. They had sacked up 40 packages of chewing gum, 33 packages of playing cards, 16 . packages of cigarets and 23 lose cigars.Filas has been charged with burglary in the Criminal court and his case will be heard in a special session by Judge Smith Friday. He has announced his intention of pleading guilty and faces a sentence of 1 to10 years.
