VANCLEVE CONTINUED STREET FIGHT CASEONE OF THE DEFENDANTS TOO ELL TO ATTEND—CASE NOW SET FOR AUGUST SIXTH— OTHERS WILL BE TRIED ONTHAT DATE IF FERLEMAN ISTOO ELL TO BE PRESENT.From Friday's Daily.The cases of Andrew Stahl,Charles Veatch, Arthur Clark, Frank Ferleman, Major Harris and Ed Ferleman were continued In the court of Justice VanCleve last evening on account of the inability of Ed Ferleman to be present. Ed Ferleman ip ine member of the party that was shot in the arm by Edward Caines in the fight which tookplace In front of the McCollum sa-■loon omthe night of July 3.The wounded arm was thought to be getting along nicely until a few days ago when he moved it .took nuch and the bone protruded from the flesh. There is some danger of his losing the arm, but the doctor thinks that he can save it, but Ferleman will be confined to his bed for several weeks yet.The trials have been continueduntil August 6. If Ferleman is unable to appear on that date the other five men will be tried and hiscase will be called when he is ablem *to appear. Two of the defendants assert that they will be able to establish alibis when, the time comes. They were camping at the time and were not in town on the night of the trouble.
