Malmgren, one of Nome's best known old-timers and miners, was found dead last night in his cabin on Arctic creek by an employe of the Cedr!e Ditch company. When last seen Malmgren was at work on his mining property in that vicinity, having gone there on July 3 in company with George Bole, the teamster.£ He appeared to be in rugged health and immediately started actit'e work on his property, but being ^ missed by his neighbors, a search was begun.
