%Abe Bingaman, Once a Goliath Now Decrepit Wreck.His Downfall Came in a Fight 1 with His Son'►County Officials Provide Home for Him.Old Abe Bingaman, once a veritable Goliath, now decrepit and almost totally blind, lias been sent to the poor house to finish his days.Not so many months ago Abe Bingania 11, a marvel of muscular strength, was able to copo with the world for a living, but in one night he met his downfall *just as the Biblical Goliath. He fell in an encounter with his own son. ;Bingaman was double jointed and was termed a monstrosity by visitors, but his deformity had become old; to residents. Ho was a‘man of ponderous strength and one night ho and his son engaged in a tight. Stones were used to hit each other, lists being not hard enough to iniliet the vengeance of tho occasion, in the combat .young Bingaman hit his father in the had with a rough stone and blinded him for life. Other injuries inflicted then gradually affected the old man’s health until he became a wreck of his former self and the county officials decided several days ago to send him to the poor farm.
