Tiie Late Affray.—Mr. Ruple the man who was shot near this place last week has been taken to his brother’s residence, about midway between here and Goshen, His brother told us yesterday that he was constantly growing weaker, but would no doubt eventually get well. Wheeler* the supposed assassin, has been removed for greater safety to La porte jail.We understand that the citizens above here held a meeting on last Saturday, resolved themselves into a “vigilance committee” and notified Harris to leave the country within one week. He had not left up to Wednesday evening, when an attempt was made to raise a company from this place to wait upon and start him.—The attempt failed, but we Icam that, he has since left.—Mishawaka Enterprise.
