clear the down-bound boat..The three Two Risers men who were last week arrested on the charge of having looted the abandoned steamer Continental have settled the difficulty by returning the property taken to the owner of the wreck. Among articles of value was the large cable which had been disposed of to a junk dealer in Manitowoc. By refunding the money to this individual the property was turned over to the defendants, who promptly made restitution. This ought to be a lesson to other persons who labor under the impression that that class of property may be taken possession of at will by the first man who JtiappenB to come along.
